August 8: Primary election day across Missouri. Polls open at 6 a.m., stay open until 7 p.m. If you want your voice to be heard, vote. If you’re not registered to vote, go to and you’ll find everything you need to get registered for the general election in November.

August 10: Second late fee applied.


August 14: School Board meeting. Another way to be involved in your community – attend a school board meeting. You’ll learn a lot, and it’s your right to be there; it’s your tax dollars. The meeting starts with a closed session at 5p.m. The public meeting begins at 6 at the district administrative office, 224 W. Commercial St.

August 15: First day of school for Lebanon R-3!

August 24-26: Christian Motorcycle Rally. Praise and worship, youth movement, bike show, swap meet, cook-off, live auction, more. Bikers and families welcome. Price: family maximum is $30. Laclede County Fairgrounds, 701 Mills Drive.
